We have received the following details of forthcoming temporary road closures.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Schedule of Temporary Road Closures
Map 1 - P4035 Cow Hill, Preston PTM001
Map 2 - P4036 Haighton Green Lane, Preston PTM001
Map 3 - P4100 Whittingham Lane, Preston PTM001
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle from proceeding over those lengths of road, in the Borough of Preston, specified in the first and second columns, of Schedule 1, of the Schedule to this Notice.
2. The prohibitions will be operative from 0800 hours to 1800 hours on the dates specified in the third column of Schedule 1, of the Schedule to the
Order or, until completion of the works within this period.
3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is specified in the first and second columns of Schedule 2, of the Schedule to this notice.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow utility works to be carried out.
